Silly Saturday?

Who’s silly? We were today.
This weekend is a “bring out your dead” weekend where homeowners can chuck their unwanted, preloved, never used junk on the street verge. Then, on Monday, men with a big truck come and remove it all. However, sometimes there’s not much left as it’s a bit like seagulls around a chip. So many people cruising the streets with trailers, vans and trucks. One man’s junk is another man’s treasure you know! I was dragging one of the heavy doors out to the road and a bloke was there with an old DVD player (I think) and asked me if I had the remote! I said no and then I said (probably a bit rudely) “what do you want for nothing!”
