Hazy Morning

Andy and I took Merlin for his morning walk in the field over looking the church.  It was a perfect early summer morning - warm, with a breeze, and the view still slightly hazy.

Afterwards I spent three hours at the allotment.  I planted out my peas, Swiss chard, courgettes, marrows and squash, and I cut the grass and weeded.  I've saved back a few of my seedlings in pots on the patio, just in case the ones I planted today get eaten or don't take for some reason.

It was very warm, about 26 degrees, so I was feeling thirsty by the time I returned for lunch.  Andy had been busy making a delicious quiche so I enjoyed a piece of that with some salad.  He'd also made a curry for us to have for tea.  He'll be watching the football so I will be reading and catching up with your blips!

Wishing you all well.  P.S.  I think yesterday's blip got a bit muddled in its posting but it is here in case you missed it.
