Iris

Irises peeking over a wall at Bosham. 27 degrees even with a breeze. No  rain so far.

I know the Ancient Greeks regarded the iris as symbolic of the rainbow and therefore a link between heaven and earth. Looking forward to learning more when I catch up with the Chelsea flower show programme which explored the symbolism of the iris.
