Plans changed

WAs meant to be going to visit number two stepson today but he called off as he has a lurgy......sadly I didn't pick up his message until I'd packed and fuelled up the car, but thankfully had not started the journey!  So came home and and a lovely lazy day.
Took a stroll to see if any cygnets had arrived - but none visible and as all the swans seem to be out and about I'm not sure anyone is even sitting! Found a few other bugs and beasts out and about too.
The weather is misbehaving too, but then it is holiday time...a 40 mile car park on the M5 apparently... and we have had rain spotting, sun shining and wind blowing. .  . but at least it is warm.  Have a good rest of the weekend.
