A Hill Too Far!

All things going well I would have been helping Alzheimer Scotland out at today and tomorrow's Edinburgh Marathon Festival by taking photographs of their runners.................but hey ho!

Instead the organisers re-routed the marathon past Chez Broon so that I could watch the runners go by.

Okay this might be a porkie but the route for Cairnpapple Hill Race which forms part of The Bathgate (West Lothian) Highland Games does! 

Cheered on by my niece ScottishGirl, two thirds of her Motley Crew, Mrs B and me, the runners headed past on their way out and on their way back on a beautiful sunny day.

Sorry no kilted runners this year!

Well done and good luck to all today and tomorrow's runners in both the Hill Race and the Marathon Festival.
