Refraction

We were all up and out at a decent time - Danny and Asha went for their Saturday swim, and Nate and I met Claire at a nearby café on the seafront. A lovely start to the weekend. I loved the light and shadows through my empty juice glass...
Later in the day we went out to the flower and music festival that's on in town today...everywhere is done up prettily with flowers, plus lots of stalls selling discount prices plants and herbs...and bands dotted about playing live music. Just lovely! We wandered along, saw a few guys from Sa Penya, played some games with Asha, had a fro-yo... and wonder of wonders, the kids are in bed and asleep early tonight! Hooray!

Today I'm grateful for;
1) How simple fun can be with kids...mini races along the Port, hair bobble flicking competitions etc etc...
2) Slow Saturdays.
3) Beautiful details in life, that might only be fleeting but lift your spirit...like this beautiful shadow/light in my blip.
