Cider with Rosie
And a pint and a packet of crisps with Mollie
Mollie is back for the long weekend, and after a rather dismal start to the day, with the sun coming out and the temperature rising we headed over to the Slad Valley to follow the Laurie Lee trail.
Laurie Lee is a local author, growing up in the Slad Valley just outside Stroud and using the local area as the backdrop to his most famous novel Cider with Rosie. The walk takes you past the house he grew up in and around the valley and ends up where you started, at The Woolpack Inn.
Extras are Mollie and Stanley having a chat half way round and Stanley, showing off his best side...
After the walk we headed over to Tetbury to drop Mollie at her friend's for the evening and then headed home with a very tired dog!
