Overblown
Having packed up last night, it was just a case of getting moving to get on the road to the other side this morning. Bailey assisted with a bark at just gone five but more sleep was required. We were up, packed, walked and in the car by a quarter past seven though. The sat nav was the voice of doom about the M6 being closed but, by the time I checked at Hartshead, it had opened ten minutes previously. Some slow traffic for a couple of miles but it didn't add too much to the journey time.
Bailey was pleased to see Mum and Dad having 'talked' in his excitement for the last mile and a bit. A walk around the block in the sunshine once the car was unloaded and he has reacquainted himself with the locality.
The sunshine has lasted and these bright red poppies in the top garden provided a blip. Hopefully the weather will prevail.
