Lampeter, Wales

This morning we got up early and headed for Wales, despite the poor weather forecast as we'd booked our Christmas present from Dan.
We went to Aberystwyth first but there seemed to be a couple of events going on and we were unable to park so we decided to head for a National Trust property instead.
On arriving at Llanerchaeron we had some lunch and then visited the house. It was a lovely house and the grounds were quite extensive too with beautiful gardens.
Afterwards we headed to Penbryn beach, accidentally taking the cliff road first which gave us a fantastic view of the beach. We then headed down to the beach and enjoyed half an hour sitting on the peaceful beach in the sun. We headed back to the car and stopped for a beautiful Sidoli ice cream before making our way to our hotel.
At the hotel we changed quickly and then had a beautiful dinner of soup, steak and pudding. All in all a lovely day. Thanks Dan for the present and thanks Chris for the company. Xx
