Compton Verney
Although the day started a bit miserable, damp and misty, we decided to head of to Compton Verney. We had seen one of the exhibitions there on our previous visit so we wanted to see the other, Ravilious & Co: The Pattern of Friendship. English Artist Designers 1922-1942, which is finishing soon. We had coffee first then after the exhibition took a walk in the grounds. The weather had improved considerably and was now warm and sunny. As in previous years part of the grounds had been given over to a wildflower area. The picture shows Ann admiring the buttercups and wild grasses of part of it.
