Baby Jools' Jazzaholics at the club

Normal service resumed today. Louth MVC sang an afternoon concert in Scarborough. I did the introductions and told the story of me singing "Scarborough Fair" at the wedding of my god daughter who hails from Scarborough. The guy who videotaped the ceremony editted a special copy for me which cut between the singer and the audience, which showed wrapped attention at first but became restless and had departed before I finished singing. I told him I hadn't remembered it quite like that. He agreed but said he was trying to represent what the audience really wanted to do. We sacrificed the possibility of a fish and chip supper to get back for the fantastic concert at the jazz club.
Yesterday was a washout: a drive home from Criccieth and bed to recover from a cold and bruised toes thanks to new boots and steep descents.
