"Mellow Brightness Of The Morning"

Yes, it's an Iris, kindly given to me by my neighbour, for my photo today.
I had intended to give you a rose or several, however, it was a little hot today for me, not to mention the beautiful roses at the Botanic Inland Gardens we had hoped to visit.
But there's always tomorrow, and more roses coming on.
We love the Irises though and respect their resilience, and process of growth throughout the winter, just to present to us a beautiful bloom for a very short time indeed. Nature is quite wonderful isn't it..
