Rebutted Love;-)

I bought these lovely yellow tulips with my wife in mind.

However, Jane then rebuts my love by saying I buy the flowers for myself, and not for her;-)

I, in turn, deny this painful stab to my motivational behaviour, with a perseverance that sees me buying her flowers throughout the year.

The flower arranging may be very basic, but I have almost too many vases to choose from, which I have acquired from the local St Luke charity shop.
