Chocoholics birthday

As you can see my friend likes her chocolate cake.  It was difficult to keep the candles alight outside!
Really lovely day with a superb lunch and then long evening chatting.  I was limited to one glass of champagne at the start of the proceedings as although we all went in a mini bus to the venue I still had to drive home from the village where she lives.  I was able to give a lift to some of the guests who didn't feel they could cope with the walk to their house.
Her son and family had travelled from New Zealand to celebrate so it was a wonderful family get together.
