Into the pond

It's another hot day of this week and making my cycle tour in the neighbourhood of Delft I found these heifers wading thro' the pond that borders their meadow in order to cool off. Here they're lining up against a farmer boy who stood a little apart from me calling them to get back into the grass land, but they  ignored his effort... wisely I think.
