THE BEAUTIFUL HERON.

The canal this morning was extremely windy and chilly, but by the time I turned for home the sun came out, and now it is beautiful, but windy.
Posting early as watching the Grand Prix then gardening and care home.
Managed to creep up (with two dogs) on this lovely heron and so pleased to get a blip of him. Hope you like him. My extras are the little swan family, the babies are now six days old. I am keeping a record of them. The other is of my little handicapped blackbird enjoying the sun. She obviously was not able to nest this year with her poor leg, but a male is nearly always with her.
