Spoilt For Choice

West Dean Gardens is resplendent, but my main pic had to be these Ox-eye daisies as they are a Favourite with a capital F.
I had a marvellous, and marvelling, time - I walked barefoot on the daisy-dotted grass which put me in mind of The Camomile Lawn by Mary Wesley.
Trainers back on, I wandered and wondered.

Extras of bumble bee on white blossom (name please?), Wisteria, the Lily pond, a new sculpture which has appeared on one of the lawns and the sunken garden.
Did not walk amongst the sheep as signs are up warning of Lyme’s Disease - seems to be spreading everywhere.
Now for an afternoon of reading - the thunder storm has not arrived, perhaps it won’t...
