Marathon Sunday

Today, 35,000 runners took part in the Edinburgh Marathon which started in the centre of the city and finished 26 miles later in the playing fields of Pinkie Primary, Musselburgh, which is just round the corner from the house.

The atmosphere was amazing with perfect weather and it was great and humbling to see people running for a variety of charities, both large and small. It was touching to hear people’s reasons for running, many of whom were pushing themselves to their physical limits in completing the marathon.

Well done to all.

I hope you have all had a good Sunday.
