Water Lilies on a hot day

I spent a couple of hours this morning trying to clear the pond of water hyacinth.   It looks a lot better this evening though it will take a day or two fro the water to settle as I took out lots of muddy roots as well. 

However by lunch time it was almost  too hot to work outside with only the strong breeze making it possible. 

Not often one can say that in Argyll !
