'tis the season....oops

A glorious day wall to wall sunshine and a gentle breeze.

We normally try to avoid going anywhere at Bank Holidays but this morning we set off early to get to Homebase by opening time.    Just outside Whitby it was a lovely run on the coast road.   I stupidly, in the rush, forgot my camera!

For the chairs we wanted plus some plants and called for a coffee on the way back.  I decided to gomfor pink, purple, blue and white plants this year for a change.    A lovely morning.

Later I emptied the tubs of last year's dead flowers and washed them ready for new ones.   So enjoyed pottering about in the sun.
