Nibbling

I decided to hang the seed feeder, at least for a couple of days.  I would really like to keep it up but the fallen seeds/hulls attract kangaroo rats.  I put a few rubber boot mats underneath it.  That way the ground feeders could get at some of the feed without it getting out into the stones.  It's times like these I really miss grass.

There was a lot of activity as you might imagine. The boot mats collected about 80% of the dribs and drabs so I'll have to check carefully around the cactus tomorrow for rat burrows.  Otherwise, not a lot going on in my life.  Still really tired so doing a lot of sleeping and trying to drink as much as possible.
