Rob Roy

Beautiful blue skies in Stirling today behind the statue of Rob Roy McGregor, which according to the plaque, was donated by his great,great,great,great,great,great,great Grandson.  (Might have missed out a couple of "greats" there).  According to my family legend, our branch of Clan McGregor is descended from Rob Roy's brother.  I have not been able to trace our family tree back far enough to confirm or deny this, but is seems just anti-climactic enough to be a plausible legend, given that every other McGregor in the world claims direct lineage...which is a bit like Sean Connery having had the longest milk round in Edinburgh history :-))
