Hosta......!!!

Fire & Ice...one of my favorite....and it looked nice and fresh this morning with some sunshine shining through it and some raindrops still from the thundery downpour of early morning...
I was awoken around 5.15am by an extremely loud scrabbling at the kitchen door....(must have been loud, given my deafness).....and it was Mel...totally agitated and upset...
We both jumped up and then my hubby heard the thunder rolling around so that was what upset her....between the two of us we reassured her and luckily it didn’t last too long and rumbled away...I found the ‘doggy valium’...gave her one and she calmed down...!
We did some more in the garden today....and I was bold and bought some more flowers...so I have to figure where I’m going to plant them now...
We had a very nice day...some sunshine and very humid ...huge black clouds but we avoided the very heavy showers!!!
