Furry nephew

With all the cooker dilemma, I decided to take the kids and my parents out for dinner this evening. We ended up at my sister’s house for tea afterwards and my boy was on the floor playing with the dog.
For ages they were happy nudging & throwing the ball to each other. Not a care in the world.
Some people think this is the norm, and it is, but also to watch your autistic teenager engage with the dog and forget the world, be totally calm and not focusing on a million things at once it’s a little slice of serenity. For my furry nephew giving my boy that time, I love him even more
