Ginger Cousins

We had the best morning at the beach with Auntie and Uncle and cousins. These two cuties look Ginger in the sun, but as soon as you cut their hair or go inside it’s usually back to brown. I got so excited when I saw how their hair looked in this picture that I just had to write a poem...

If boys are made of snips and snails and puppy dog tails, then ginger boys are made with unicorn dreams and leprechaun laughs.

And they spend their days drinking lemonade made from sunsets and eating pomegranate seeds that taste like seeing fireworks for the first time.

How else do you think they get such vibrant color radiating from their heads??
