Woolly beret.....

.....kind of day.

It's been horrid weather, squally wintry showers passing through with a bitterly cold wind, the sky has been muted with no mountains, ranges or hills to be seen....winter has arrived!!

I thought the lovely seedhead of the Japanese anemone suited my day weather wise and also the theme for Mono Monday which is 'Finale'. The Japanese anemones always go out with an element of surprise, how many seedheads turn themselves into something so warm and comforting in their final days, they're welcome in my garden any time of the year.

Warm thanks to MerrilHope for hosting Mono Monday this month, I've looked and enjoyed the entries although not had time to participate in all of the themes.

Monday......bitterly cold, 7C, showery and windy, more to come tomorrow so they say - brrr!!
