Gong at the brook

big big day yesterday ,, we left only footsteps and we took away great memories ..North Wales we love and will be returning.. travelled back to basingstoke, stopped at home for a couple of hours , recharged the cameras and then travelled south again with a friend to see gong at the brook last nite .. just a brilliant nite,, there seems to be a worrying trend though,, the bands im seeing are getting on a bit !! you know they are older when they introduce a song by saying " heres a song i wrote in 1969 " change the world it was,, oh how hippies were eternal optimists.. still singing the same song 43 years later again with same meaning..i think the only time the world will change is when you shuffle off the mortal coil.. in the meantime its just life ... should write a song called.. tolerate the world cos it aint for changing .. the full pix of the gig last nite can be seen on my flickr site, http://www.flickr.com/photos/62785852@N05/
suitably whacked i get home and have the worst nites sleep ever..worked out its the bed and pillows,, slept really well all week on a different bed and actually woke up feeling good..today i wake stiff as a board, thumping headache and comfortable in the knowledge that i have got a 12 hour nite shift tomorrow to look forward to on the first nite back..ohhh joy..
