End of 'summer'

Torrential rain, accompanied by thunder and lightning, until mid-morning, then it returned mid-afternoon. Fortunately I live on a hill, with the ground sloping away from my house in every direction (despite the fact that I am only half way down the hill!) - if you've seen the news photos from nearby Birmingham you will know how bad it has been in this area. 

I was NOT tempted to venture outside to record the floods!
