Penrith And The Lakeland Fells

Another beautiful morning here in Penrith, a rather icy one too, first time I've had to defrost the car this winter. Today I'm off to see Lee 'Scratch' Perry in Glasgow at the O2 ABC, can't wait! I took a number of shots looking over Penrith from Beacon edge, but this one was a favorite, the columns of houses and fells really gave a great effect of the contrast between concrete jungle and the stunning feral wilderness.
