Snow Queens
It took us a while to get going... Mostly due to a lack of communication. But, after a rather special soup-stew, Mrs. Cool and I joined B. and J. for a fantastic almost 3-hour ski ride behind their house. We had received a good 30cm (1ft) of new powder snow on Thursday, so the conditions were perfect.
When we got back to the house, a bunch of teens were ready to leave to go spend the night at B.'s camp. This is where I caught these beautiful snow queens.
Earlier in the day, M. from the Maggies had arrived from his week on the CTMA for the "Traversée de la Baie-des-Chaleurs". We left him to sleep as he was totally drained. Later we all had a big feast of smelts followed by music and songs.
During that time, Em stayed at home with 4 friends to celebrate Octavia's birthday.
All in all, one heck of a Saturday. I hope yours was good as well.
Check out some more pics from that beautiful day.
