Cool Blue

Another cool morning followed by a scorching afternoon. Raf seems happy wandering around the garden and galloping up and down the hill chasing sticks, so we didn't have a dog walk today.  There's a lot of catching up to do after our week away.

The garden is in overdrive - so much is suddenly in flower, and the blooms aren't lasting long in the heat. But the Siberian Iris, like the one in the blip, are all growing in shady places, and looking cool and elegant.  

And I'm having a cool and elegant glass of white wine ......
