Worked til 12 then came home and sat in the shade in the garden fir my lunch. Everything is looking lovely despite the lack of rain.
My planned couple if hrs with my book was cut short by the droning of the neighbour's jet washer which was less than 30 ft away from my seat as the crow flies. I grumpily retreated inside and did a kitchen full of ironing. Either way was going to induce a hot grumpy headache! What on earth takes almost 4hrs to be cleaned by a jet washer?! Rant done.
Just spent a lovely hour inspecting plants and seedlings and watering the needy. Equilibrium now regained!
