Lush lane

... and shapely shadows! I love this little lane that's very close to home. Spotted lots of butterflies today - speckled wood, small white, painted lady, orange tip, and a number of very small, pretty moths, too.

The buttercups and red campion shone in the bright sun. It's been an absolutely glorious day of hot sunshine; hard to believe it's a bank holiday! (I've kept thinking it's Sunday all day, so shall be very confused for the rest of the week!)
