Picnic

Half term! But just for three days. What?!

We left a cold and foggy Edinburgh for a trip across the Forth where the weather was stunning.

First a quick look at Burleigh Castle.

Then a boat trip on Loch Leven to the island. A wonderful tranquil picnic on the island and time exploring the Castle there, before the boat back.

Car nap on the way to Anstruther. 

Ice cream and sandcastles on the beach.

An hour at the park, and adopted by an older boy for lovely playing.

Fish and chips at the award winning fish and chip restaurant in Anstruther.

Home late but a bath required for a grimy sandy child.

Perfect behaviour from CyclopsJnr so the whole day was a pleasure.
