Determined

This chicken is determined to be a mother and has sat on a clutch of random eggs for 35 days. She is hidden away in the goat shed and takes her mothering job very seriously! Today her duckling babies all began to hatch. She is very pleased with herself and is very happy to show off her brood. Extra gives you an idea of her family. Ducks have a habit of sharing nests so six eggs can appear in one day. Then along came a broody chicken.
