MonoMonday: Finale

Celebrating Memorial Day in US. We had a gathering with our girls and their families who live nearby. We put out a brand new US flag in the morning, and a Finland flag, to celebrate its 100th anniversary. After everyone had left, except our resident granddaughter and her sister, we did a ceremony of burning our old worn out US flag. That's how I recall they need to be disposed of. To make it more ceremonial, the national anthem was sung, a fitting finale for the day, and the life of the flag. Thank you MerrilHope for hosting!
