Sports Day

Mr isbi and I took Henry to the big kids sports carnival today.
We are not a particularly athletic family.
As you say in horse racing Elizabeth “didn’t beat any home” in the 200 metres and Hugh “put in a big run to finish midfield” in the 50 metres.
But the upset of the day came in the shot put.
Her father had Elizabeth at odds of 200/1 in that event and she finished second by 2”. You can see by this picture of her in the race, she isn’t exactly the classic build for shot put. However we were all very excited by the unexpected success.
