A Memorable Day

Up at 7am and down to Halensee. After all these weeks a moment to celebrate ,The number of cygnets is now 6 and there's an egg which is being cared for so who knows what tomorrow brings. It was 33°c and mother swan decided time for the water. The little family was taken for the first outing  hence a film free of reeds .My extra is of a  Birch Mouse .It has long back legs and can it jump ! ..(A possible candidate for the AOG )  Frequenting the marshy muddy area where the waters have dried up it has amazing camouflage ...
