Iberis saxatilis: candytuft

Mr hazelh and I have travelled south today by train to spend a few days with his parents. The journey was animated by some rather exciting weather as we approached Kings Cross: thunder and lightening followed by a terrific downpour.

As soon as we arrived at our final destination we followed the guided tour around my mother-in-law's superb garden. I was particularly taken by this beautiful shrub.

Exercise today: small amount of walking to Waverley, at Kings Cross, and at Victoria (7619 steps).
