Yellow Sea
Back blip
On Saturday afternoon I drove over to Skinflats and had a very pleasant walk on the roads and tracks to and around the local nature reserve. The reserve is a haven for birds and rare plants due to the mudflats and saline lagoons between the River Forth and the River Carron.
At this time of year quite a few of the fields are a sea of yellow rape seed plants (see also the extra photo) but I like this photo of two ships anchored at Grangemouth docks and looking as if they could almost be sitting on a sea of yellow themselves.
