What a difference a day makes

After a very hot and sunny weekend, the weather took a turn for the worse it has been raining constantly all day into the evening. The roads are flooded but still drivers take silly risks on our lanes, and I was held up for a time because of a head on crash outside a house of some friends. Fortunately it appeared to be only the cars that were injured and we waited while the first huge tow truck took off one of the cars. The policeman spoke to me saying that people drive far too fast on our lanes, in spite of bad weather and poor visibility. To gain a few minutes, selfish drivers could lose more than a few hours of their lives.

Impossible because of the bad visibility to take an outdoor blip today. The cats have spent all day asleep indoors and Juliette seemed very contented to sleep on the back of the sofa.
