Sous Barry

Although rain was forecast for the afternoon, today turned out to be quite pleasant all day. During the afternoon Marian and I walked into the village as a bit of exercise. We had an ice cream and a wander about, then walked back. My blip was taken just outside the walls with the chateau, which is now apartments, just inside the walls to the left. The gate you see here is the same gate that can be seen in the distance in my picture of the fountain from a couple of days ago.

We've just finished watching the second season of The Crown and enjoyed it very much. There's a lot I didn't know and I've no idea how much is based on good research and how much mght be from the imagination of the scriptwriters. Good stuff though.
