Archeological explorers

We had a nice chilled day today with my parents, niece and nephew and Phoebe’s school friend who we were looking after. We met them at an archeological site where a settlement from 6000 years ago was found. We had a great time exploring the Bronze Age roundhouse, digging for artefacts, learning about conservation of the items that were found including an 8ft logboat which needed to be kept wet and of course running off some steam in the outside play area!
