Winter Pancakes

I took Sean to his friend's birthday party this morning at an old fire station that was converted into a childrens museum. It was actually a really cool place, and he had so much fun.
I wasn't feeling well today, though, so it was a relief for me to get home and kick my feet up. My stomach was upset so I didn't feel like eating, but I knew I needed to get something in my system, so my sweet husband drove to the grocery store to pick me up a bottle of ginger ale & box of Saltines. I felt a little better after the nausea-curing snack I've always relied on as a kid. Since I slept terribly last night, I decided to take a nap with Sean and it was so great waking up with that rested feeling.
Even though the rested feeling didn't last very long...
I wasn't in the mood for food again when dinner rolled around, so I decided that pancakes would be easy and I might be able to stomach them. So I made some special ones for Sean.
