One of my favourite pieces of stained glass. Beautiful but so very sad and blipped before.


In a quiet and little used corner of my local church there is a small memorial to Eleanor. She died during one of the many outbreaks of Scarlet Fever in Victorian London. She was only 16 years old ...

Back to the chalk face tomorrow.
