The Cobb

We visited Lyme Regis today - the first time I have been there.  I don't know quite what I was expecting: I think my only image of it was from the film of "The French Lieutenant's Woman".  It was more commercialised than I had expected, and fairly busy - well it is half term week for much of the country.  The rain held off even though the sky was grey, and as the day progressed it became more and more misty until the sea and sky merged completely and the horizon was invisible.
