Dunnock III

A cold, wet and pretty miserable day that provided little to inspire this blipper. When the rain eventually went off this afternoon I ventured outside and got a few bird blips. However the poor light limited the detail that could be captured.

At least Mr Dunnock can be relied upon to stand still for a second and pose for the camera!

Seeing less of Tommy Titmouse in this weather, probably because he is more concerned with eating than stashing away seeds for the winter. Interestingly, a few days ago he took a seed from me and flew to a tree where he concealed it in the bark. No sooner had he done so when another Coal Tit arrived and stole the seed. The behaviour seemed remarkably similar to that of the Grey Squirrels featured on Autumn Watch last week.
