It’s that time again

A couple of weeks and it’s our annual Le Mans trip. There are 10 of going this year which has made for some organisational entertainment. I think we are more or less all set ( goes to count tickets for the third time ;)).

I’ve just filled in the leave request for school for Alf. As H is a teacher I do feel slightly guilty taking him out for a couple of days, but he gets so much from this trip we think it’s worth it. Obviously school have never actually said yes !

Of course it’s always good to tell them in advance. One year a friend didn’t, choosing instead to call in sick.. As he was on the phone to the school office a loud voice came over the tannoy ‘welcome to eurotunnel’. He had quite a lot of explaining to do when he got back ;)
