Exploring Chiavari

Today we spent the day further exploring the Italian Riviera town of Chiavari. It’s a lovely place and is made unique by its many streets of covered walkways with grandiosely painted apartments and offices above them.

We had an incredible meal at one of the restaurants near to our accommodation and finished it off with a dessert of gelato from our now favourite gelateria. You can’t beat handmade Italian ice cream. Yummy!

All in all a good day was had by both myself and Grandpa. It will be a day of relaxation in our accommodation during tomorrow.
