Carousel

This, believe it or not, is a Carousel. It opens up when in use. I have not seen it being used, but it is in the centre of Saintes at the Abbe aux Dames. I have been told that anyone can book to use it, take an instrument, whether they can play it or not, and proceed to make a noise. The cacophany is supposed to be interesting. I prefer it closed and quiet. The rest of the day was spent gardening and making the most of an unexpected dry day. Mrs SoL is just visible in the pic to give an idea of scale.
